The e-SAFE project will be part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2021, the biggest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe organized by the European Commission.
The event, that will take place on 25-29 October 2021 under the theme «Towards 2030: Reshaping the European energy system», will comprise the Policy Conference, the EUSEW Awards, the 2nd European Youth Energy Day, as well as various networking activities.
The Policy Conference, the main event of the EUSEW, will host different sessions organised by the European Commission and energy stakeholders, that will focus on sustainable energy issues, debate new policy developments, best practices, and sustainable energy ideas. e-SAFE partners and stakeholders are kindly welcomed to participate to the Policy Conference, since the EU Sustainable Energy Week is an opportunity to meet stakeholders promoting energy efficiency and renewable energies, learn about successful policies and inspire innovation to meet the EU’s energy and climate goals.
This year, EUSEW Participants will also have access to an extended programme of Sustainable Energy Days: digital activities and events organised by local public and private organisations across Europe to promote clean energy and energy efficiency. The e-SAFE project organised one of these events on 1st October: a Workshop for Engaging Stakeholders in the Field of Deep Renovation that took place both in Catania and online.
Moreover, networking activities will take place during the EUSEW, including the Energy Talks, inspiring speeches and presentations followed by the opportunity to interact with the audience. Prof. Gianpiero Evola (UNICT) from e-SAFE project was selected with his talk to present «The e-SAFE solutions for the energy and seismic renovation of non-historic buildings» on 28th October.
