The European Commission has organized a Festival dedicated to the New European Bauhaus Initiative (we also talk about the NEB here).
The NEB Festival, which will take place from 9 to 12 June 2022 in Brussels, is intended to gather as many people as possible to discuss and shape a future that is sustainable, inclusive and beautiful.
These are indeed the concepts at the heart of the New European Bauhaus, touching every possible field that can connect the European Green Deal to our living spaces and experiences.
Ranging from science to art, from design to politics, from architecture to technology, education and culture, the Festival will represent a unique opportunity to network, exchange ideas and celebrate through debates, artistic performances and exhibitions of various kinds.
e-SAFE profited from one of the many possibilities to get involved in the Festival by applying for the Fair. The deadline for application was the 21st of March, with the Festival offering four different modalities for getting involved: showcase artistic/cultural performances at the Fest; showcase a project/initiative at the Fair; organize a Side Event in another town, region or country; finally, to propose places to host an event within the Festival. This is in a glimpse what you can expect from this first edition of the New European Bauhaus Festival!
Therefore, e-SAFE applied to showcase its concept at the Festival. If the project will be selected, visitors of the Festival will be involved in activities aimed at getting them closer to a project that meets all the NEB’s core values: sustainability, inclusivity, and aesthetics.
